Prime Rib Cooking Instructions |
Insert meat thermometer in center of meat. In a shallow baking pan, place meat on a rack or on stalks of celery. Bake in oven set at 240 to 250 degrees for approximately 3 - 4 hours. Take meat out of oven when internal temperature is 5 degrees less than desired doneness.
Example: for medium rare - take out when meat thermometer reached 140 degrees
